These Constitutional signatories are not neccessarily rebels.

Rebels signed the Declaration of Independence, and the Articles of Confederation.

Also, if the Janet N (not Janet Reno) team should want support of the military and law enforcement for dealing with "extremists", slandering veterans is a REALLY STUPID first step.
