Also, this Bloomberg article has not been confirmed by IOC or CNOOC yet. But I guess now we know what the PNG prime minister Somare was doing on his China visit. The PNG government seems to be very leaky.

CC - what do you think this news may result in? I mean with Antelope 1 flowing at over 68,000 boepd this is a monsta find. At a valuation of just $1.2B we are getting most of the assets for nothing.

My take is more drill results and 3rd party validation will spell the end for IOC as an independent operator.
