I too found the cc very upbeat and was impressed with McIntrye's presentations and openness. They are are obviously expecting great things from the NetGain acquisition. Some additional comments that I noted:

-- 600K inc in cash will be used this quarter for investment.

-- Future growth of Customer Management Systems industry is est at 30 -50%.

-- Expect to bypass competition with Netgain web product with its simplicity, affordability, and serviceability. It will be the growth driver in '98. Customers were "stunned" by NetGain technology at conference.

-- Will include extensive security with Netgain web product down to row level.

-- Continuing close partnership with MicroSoft but will consider others.

-- Introducing tech control option for conversion to MS Visual Basic from proprietary software.

-- Take Contol '98 is going into Beta at customer sites this week

Overall, very positive.

Something else I wanted to mention about the class this company seems to have so far is their excellent 10-K. It contains a lot of extras that you don't usually find, including a detailed rather than perfunctory business description, the letter to shareholders that one usually finds only in annual reports, management background (which you usually only find in a DEF 14a), and a bunch of miscellaneous useful info neatly organized at the end; all in all, nice disclosure, well done. Speaks well of the company.

Actually, I was the one that asked the question attributed to Edward Jones. My broker called to let me know about BROC's CC. I had never called one before so I was not expecting them to ask my company affiliation. Not wanting to use my employer, I just used my broker. I guess I should have said "private investor"

Really, do you expect some Jones analyst to ask them what type of encryption they are going to be using?<g>
