Wowzer, you are right given that everyone has bought IYR ahead of their earnings - a good lesson. I'm in for 3 more weeks - we'll see how good these earnings are. i will try and trade, too - but only short term and with tight stops.

I agree. The slippage on that thing makes it a no-go in my book. FAS and FAZ also.
