I meant the exxon valdez of course (moron)...which case did you respond to as the federal case you thought I was talking about?

You must be the MORON because Palin was one who complained that the courts should not have reduced the award from that case. Yet you claim she knew nothing about the case. Since there is a case involving a Juan Valdez I suspect you have been reading more propaganda lies that have purposedly confused you between the two cases.

You must have been talking about the Couric interview where Palin simply refused to answer the question to get another point out instead.

COURIC: What other Supreme Court decisions do you disagree with?

PALIN: Well, let's see. There's -- of course -- in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings, that's never going to be absolute consensus by every American. And there are -- those issues, again, like Roe v. Wade where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. So you know -- going through the history of America, there would be others but --

COURIC: Can you think of any?

PALIN: Well, I could think of -- of any again, that could be best dealt with on a more local level. Maybe I would take issue with. But you know, as mayor, and then as governor and even as a vice president, if I'm so privileged to serve, wouldn't be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it reads today.

After this exchange Couric changed the subject. But if you read this closely you can tell that Palin was trying not to get into a controversy over Roe Vs Wade, and probably was not 100% sure about McCain's stance since it has changed a few times in the past. Then she started to say something about dealing with issues on a local level, so obviously her mind was set to come up with court cases but with trying to make a point that she will not be dealing with these issues as Vice President. She was not forgetfull, but she was tring to tip toe through Couric's land mines, which was set in the unfamiliar land of John McCains nebulous political landscape.
