Someone has to cover the bill for the massive deficit spending that you claim is "fiscal responsibility" ...

If only conservatives actually believed that.

In 2001 President Bush went in front of the congress and said:

"The growing surplus exists because taxes are too high and government is charging more than it needs. The people of America have been overcharged and on their behalf, I am here to ask for a refund."

As his deficits mounted, increased ever larger, seemingly exponentially, he never went before congress and asked that America pay her bills. Never once.

Conservatives have no credibility on fiscal issues. And it's too bad. Before Reagan, Republicans were the party of fiscal responsibility. No more.
