Waterboarding causes a person to think they are drowning and about to die which clearly causes mental pain and suffering. There is no question waterboarding meets the UN Convention definition of torture.

Which leaves us with your Nixonian defense that anything the President condones cannot be torture according to the UN Convention.

That too is obviously false. Which is why your argument in defense of torture utterly fails.
