Hi bill,

I would guess the sentence refers to their multi-megabit service which they filed tarrifs on last month. there are 3 service bands:

192 kb/s for $50/month
384 kb/s for $100/month
768 kb/s for $150/month

Hardware is HDSL-based from PairGain.

At these rates, it is clearly a loss-leader-my guess is they plan to make it up by selling the other side of the service to the ISPs at healthy margins. It will also drive the final stake into the ISDN heart.

They also issued an RFP several weeks ago to provide an upgrade path from the above to ADSL.
