Double (Triple) Whammy :-)))

Interesting to note is that many of these jet-send devices will be connected to HP deskjet printers where WindRiver already provides the RTOS in the printer. Imagine, some of these devices will probably be hooked into servers boasting I2O as well....for the "triple-whammy!"

If you get a chance to look at the Business Section of the EE Times issue dated September 29th, there is a pretty good article "Dramatic growth expected in immature sector, Embedded tools ready to roll", where market growth uncertainty among market research is acknowledged, but the consensus among industry insiders is consistent with the title of the article. WIND is cited as the undisputed leader.

WIND will have a hard time keeping its stock price down. These are just the first rumblings of the "ubiquitous" revolution in progress. Geez, just consider how royalties are shaping up with the double and triple whammies :-)))

Cheers,
Ronald

Imagine... the possibilities jet-send will enable

Imagine what it will mean to be able to access a printer's "web-page"... "what's the url of your printer? I'll email the report to it. You should see the hardcopy on your desk as soon as you arrive at your office this morning."

Only the beginning :-)
