Still think a goal of a $900 billion deficit ten years from now is "fiscally responsible"? When did i ever say that? I've consistently said we have to get our economy growing first and deal with our deficits second. Until we see what happens with the economy, these goals and projections are pretty much meaningless. As usual you're condemned to argue hypothetically. We know what happened to the deficit under Reagan (explosion). We know what happened under Clinton (major contraction) and we know what happened under both Bushes (more explosion). Your only defense of this complete and irrefutable Republican failure is to hypothetically argue against what might happen during the Obama presidency. I have actual numbers. You have naught. That's an awfully weak position to have to argue from. SD
