I've seen that movie in a government training course I took many years ago, called Managerial Grid. We had to identify the Managerial Grid type of every person on the jury, and their backup mode. The managerial grid is a scale with concern for production on one axis and concern for people on the other. Henry Fonda's character was a 9,9, indicating that he had equal and high regard for both. His backup style was 9,1, meaning that backed up against the wall he went for production.
