that will just be an excuse to tax the working people even more. The only way government knows how to solve a problem is by throwing more government at it. When the current round of government solutions fails to solve the world's problems it will be presented as even further evidence of how capitalism fails. The thing is, if they really wanted to reduce emissions, they wouldn't put any money into solar or wind generation. They would put money into making vehicles, machines and carbon based generation plants more efficient. That would cut back on carbon emissions more quickly and greater quantities than the alternate sources that are on the table.
