D.H.: I would feel a lot more comfortable about buying more shares if I knew more about the officers of this company. What do we know about George Faris, apart from his connections with highly placed individuals in the Kazak government? Has he, or any other officers, ever had cause to be investigated by the SEC? What other companies have they been associated with in the past and how did those companies fare? Has any analyst reported at length on AIPN? Previous posts have commented on the way business is done in that part of the world -- deal-making (corruption?, crooked politicians? chicanery?)which we like to think of as "not the American way". (HA!) Who is to say that business men/politicians who are crafty enough to swing such self-serving deals would not find ways to shaft shareholders when it is to their advantage? This note is not meant to be totally negative - just a little of the devil's advocate speaking. To those super longs who will defend this company to the death, I recommend they read Charles McKays classic work "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds", 1841. amazon.com Terry
