Are you suggesting a church cannot teach the prevention of teenage pregnancy, without the involvement of a radical fringe group like Planned Parenthood?

I have never heard of dead baby seal pictures in schools, and I've been in a lot of schools.

I think story books that might have gay parents in it is SIGNIFICANTLY less scary than dead baby seals- my only reason for protecting people is to protect them from harm. Knowing there are gay people in the world isn't going to harm them, and it's not scary, unless the parents make it scary, which is the fault of the home, not the world or the school.

Public schools are not the place to protect children from a general knowledge of the (non-scary) world around them. I wouldn't cave to a religious freak that thought black people were some lost tribe, and therefore didn't want story books with black people in them, and I feel the same way about books with gay people. But I'm 100% against books with dead baby, or dead baby seal pictures.
