bobby, get on the telephone conference this pm to get the gist of the situation. something needs better explaining. i think pdg will be able to get another 5 to 6 million ozs out of the CC than the prefeasibility study says. also, the aldebaran can hold another 5 to 10 mm ozs at the very least. azs , with a paltry 150mm market cap, and a potential total of at least 7.5mm ozs is still selling for $20 bucks in the hole. and their debt obligation has been substantially reduced, its like they have a 25% interest for little or no money upfront or on the back end as pdg will put the upfront money. clive and wilison better have ansers.

The last time that Placer was desperate to increase its reserve base they bought Continental Gold for about $300 million. That property is still in inventory and remains uneconomic contrary to what the management of Placer thought at the time. At least this time the deal is structured as an inexpensive option which will allow Placer to wiggle out without great embarrassment and Willson may keep his job. I'll bet Munk is chuckling right now as the race for gold pre-eminence is over. Do the shorts move from Bema to Placer?
