You've got to hand it to Intel. With their price cuts they are demonstrating a take no prisoners attitude with respect to AMD. It was pretty clear from MP Forum that AMD represented little threat to Intel all next year, yet Intel is keeping the pressure on. Intel didn't need to cut prices in Q3 to damage AMD (AMD did it to themselves with the disasterous yields), yet Intel slashed and now they are slashing more. With FLASH imploding and weakness across all of AMD's products, plus their overcommitment in Dresden and the terrible situation with Fab25, it is hard to see the floor for AMD. I think both AMD and Intel face continued weakness for the forseeable future.

Au contraire. It is just beginning. This is an excellent buying opportunity.
