We could cut our military in HALF and have a military larger than any potential enemy, a military as large as half of the entire world's military combined. Why isn't this an issue for anyone but Ralph Nader? Because the military builds it's stuff everywhere, and has become the military-industrial-government complex. The F-22, which Gates is attempting to cut, is built in 48 states! You don't think the powers-that-are are stupid, do you? The front line wingers maybe but the ones behind them are very clever. We've won only half the war. Dislodging the big guys will be much harder if not impossible.
