How about that minority called "bankers and brokers." I can't think of any other likely candidates for persecution right now. African-Americans and gays can hardly be connected with economic catastrophe. Last year there was a sudden outcry against "speculators" which I guess included me. I think anyone who fears irrational persecution has a point.I just don't think the antisemitic thing will fly. If any sort of Internet-organized persecution gets going, watch out. However, those Fox TV teabag jerks may have had some fun the other day but I'll be surprised if they get very far. Of course there is that minority known as honest and intelligent persons. I think it's going to be "speculators" who will be in big trouble. Now that's an honest speculation.
