Its at a 75 year low because its experiencing serious housing price deflation and its economy is dropping like a rock. Not good at all.

Deflation is a very good thing, they seem to be allowing it to happen. It will help their economic recovery greatly. I suspect they will be one of the first nations back on their feet.

check NYT article on spain today. Its even worse and deflation not especially about housing there. All prices falling now.
In the Hamptons, migrant workers without work are living in the woods, sustaining themselves on local deer population. Perhaps Hugh thinks this is good news too.
