The one simple thing that the high priests of GW have never produced is actual evidence that atmospheric CO2 increases due to man's activities actually CAUSE global warming. What exactly would constitute "evidence" for you? You see Sam that's the whole problem. I don't have to prove a negative and nor can I. It is up to the the proponents to present evidence and experimental data to support their case, not for the skeptics to "disprove" something that doesn't exist. Your comment is the classic that people without scientific training always come up with. Your belief is faith based and as such isn't based on hard evidence or supportable facts, the same as all religious beliefs. Consensus isn't evidence. The major segment of the whole world's population for thousands of years believed that the sun moved around the earth and anyone who dared to even question that as a "fact" was punished, even killed. That is the classic example of "faith based belief" trumping logic and science. Today the GW deniers are attacked, ridiculed and ignored in much the same manner and by similar religious/political groups as those who persecuted Galileo.
