I'm not so sure that Obama has "failed" the N. Korea test yet. Did you happen to notice that S. Korea and N. Korea are "talking" once again? If you think that has happened without the U.S. being involved, then you're wrong. During the Clinton years we tried to open a dialogue with N. Korea. We were actually able to keep their nuke program at bay and bring in influences that gave their people an exposure to the outside world. That's where their nascent "capitalism" came from. That stuff was helping to open up their society to some extent. Then Bush came in and that was all lost. We threatened them and then they pulled the rods from their reactors and made more nukes. We threatened them some more and they did a long range missile test over Japan. We threatened them some more and they did an underground nuke test. I guess that was all part of Bush's test and he FAILED it. This isn't "playground" stuff. You can't just say, "My dad is bigger than your dad and you better do what I say". This playground involves the Countries of Japan and S. Korea and the lives of maybe 50,000 Americans. Peter, why don't you tell us ALL....just what Obama "should" do regarding N. Korea? Should we just "blockade" them and cut off all shipping in and out unless we inspect it first? I notice that not even your heros Bush and Cheney seemed to favor that. So WHAT would YOU do about N. Korea???????????????
