I wouldn't be overly concerned with a small home improvement, but it bothers me that the trade with China is making it harder for American consumers to trust the products they buy.

I got some light Chinese plywood with which to build some crates for shipping. It looks and works fine, but I don't know if there are any carcinogens in the glue. I don't think I would use it for furniture, although it is pretty clear for the price.
