The wingnuts are saying the we gave away information on our techniques by releasing the waterboarding memos. But, the techniques have been published, and even demonstrtated on video for YEARS now! It isn't even the point. Waterboarding hasn't been used since '03 anyway, and was only used on three detainees. The issue is the other stuff. Of course, having your liberal head up your liberal ass, you wouldn't have picked up on that.

They are beyond the pale. I can make a defense of what we did immediately after 9/11 barring the waterboarding and other extreme measures as defined by John McCain. I can also defend as mccain does as well as all cia chiefs past and present the need to keep secrecy. What i cannot do is codify the processes of torture and play the mental mind games of justifying it as something else other than torture. This double talk and mind control propaganda games they play are hideous.
