I live in TX now. Have lived in IL and WV. Was an union ironworker apprentice when I graduated from college got a white collar job and dropped that. At the tim I dropped that work, they were already bringing in blacks into the ironworkers union, but things havent changed all that much in those type unions though.

I was on a Union job in Phillie 3 years ago, out of 200-300 union guys 2-3 were black
