And you too! <i thought faber is warning against folks who believe ethnic this and cultural that, meaning people such as yourself and cb ilaine > Being the racist you are, you impute generalisations which are true collectively, on average, more or less, for the greater part, to individuals. We non-racists think individuals don't necessarily fit the Clonesville ideology of the rulers, nor even the generally true stereotype of the group.

The whole point of distinct words such as Maori, Catholic, Japanese, Han, Chen, Dancers, Football players, Tall people, Short people, fat people, anaemic, musical, etc is to give a verbal description of a bunch of people who more or less, generally, for the most part, fit into that word. Generally, more or less, Catholics do and think particular things, unless they don't. Chinese, more or less, on average use chopsticks and think Hu Jintao is absolutely spiffing as boss, if not as sacred as Chairman Mao who was only 70% right, or 30%, or not much at all. They had better not say otherwise.

People from NZ, generally, more or less, for the most part have particular cultural and genetic characteristics which are not found in such bundles elsewhere. Being such a place of immigrants, the spread is much greater than in homogeneous places like Japan with little miscegenation from foreign devils.

Not all of us like rugby, beer, racing, pies, hakas or Helen Clark. Some are even averse to whitebait, but they aren't dinkum Kiwis and should be sent back where they came from. You'll find greater concentrations of Helen Clark lovers here than in other places.

Surely you know all that.
