My son in law says they are pretty damn sure about global warming. I guarantee you the examples you bring up have been gone over many times, with satelites!

Well.. there are thousands of other scientists who are not, and their evidence is just as convincing and far less politically biased.

Personally speaking, I think it's rather incredulous to make such a conclusion with only 100 years of data and based solely upon analysis of CO2 levels.

Check back with me in 10-20 years, after Solar Cycle 25, and maybe we'll have sufficient data to draw a preliminary conclusion. Personally speaking, I fear we're on the verge of another mini-ice age like the Maunder Minimum. In such a case, I'll be looking for whatever global warming influence we can generate.

Come over the Politics of Energy thread if you wish to discuss it further.

>>My son in law says they are pretty damn sure about global warming.<<

why has the earth cooled in the presence of immense CO2 emissions over the last DECADE?

how did the ice age end without humans to warm the planet?

why is it snowing in seattle in april?

does your son in law know more about weather than john coleman?

the TRUTH is we don't know what is going on with any level of scientific certainty, BUT THAT CONCLUSION DOESN'T PAY WELL AND NOBODY CAN INCREASE TAXES BASED ON THAT THEME.
