Ah, the winds of public opinion. I think 60% of the public wants universal health care. How are they going to get their wishes granted if they think government has too much power?

Maybe the "too much power" has to do with other things than the old rt lft debate? Maybe folks dont want to go to jail for smoking a joint or dont want the govt in their bedroom? Libertarianism cuts across left/right divide. Ask Barry Goldwater. Its only todays right who have entered into alliances with folks who really want more govt intervention whether domestic or foreign in certain areas of course.
