Obama raised expectations for himself and there are a lot of dumb people who bought into his line of talk. It's often hard for people who have been mislead to admit it. It makes them feel stupid. I think that's part of what's going on in certain quarters of the media. The question is whether people will catch on, or admit their errors in judgment, before it is too late. Obama and his minions/masters were smart to press ahead with their agenda in the early stage before the shine wears off.
