As for the "how" that is more complex. As the mess is so huge.
It will take several decades to fix. Slowly and progressively.

Unfortunately, I don't see any attempt to fix before this crisis is over in 10 years plus.

You replace them with their opponent or you get behind a movement. As long as you take the "woe is me approach" and keep eating shiiite they will feed it.

But I think if you were honest with yourself you are very happy with the current situation and not inclined to rock the boat.

We may see it done this election. The teaparty movement could easily turn into a revolution at the ballott box
