I have noticed that the talking heads can only keep two or three indicators in their heads at any on time. Furthermore the indicators are either all monetary/financial or economic. The never, never look at both at the same time. They also stick to one or the other for year and years. This way they are sure to miss major turns - which they always do. Eventually they figure it out and then jump to the other side but way too late.
