What's the definition of insanity? Continuing to do the same thing that doesn't work, over and over?

We've all known people who shouldn't have become cops, should NEVER have been given a gun and authority - TidyWipes here for one. I'm sure the introduction of torture brought out ALL the closet sadists in the military and the CIA..
