But, if Pakistan's leadership does not choose to 'get off the pot' with regard to the existential threat to Pak's civil society that the Taliban poses... if Pak's political and military and intelligence elites do not end their policy of ambivalence and/or secret support for religiously-motivated 'proxy armies' like this then the day may come when "Pakistan nears collapse".... (It's never been all that stable to begin with. There have always been several independence movements operating on it's territory....)
