Yes, that is a very childish post.

Yeah, exactly my reaction...what a bunch of dimwit losers those "conservatives" are. Imagine, they call themselves teabaggers...

reagan democrats appeared in 1980 because liberalism failed because it became associated with weak fp and welfare statism. Liberalism was reborn in this cycle largely because of failed war and what is associated with that and economic collapse. The rt wing extremists, albeit far more willing to use methods that are out of the norm for democracy, are actually fighting that rear guard action liberals fought in the late 70s/early 80s. A new democratic party emerged from the rubble and now its time to start the process for GOP or just replace them with a third party led by responsible people offering an alternative to obama. What we have now are crazies in charge---rush, cheney, newt. New repubs, please speak out against this unseemly, racist, unpatriotic attack on obama and co. Some have, others will--lets put those neanderthals where they belong in the dust bin of history. I would love to think that in 2012 that i could have a choice again between 2 reasonable options in an election that glorifies american democracy, not soils it.
