Roubini is suffering guilt over his fame for calling this disaster, me suspects:)---- "Yes i predicted this, i regret it happened, but yes i predicted it" "Well can you now give us any hope, now???(with a tone of "please, please, we are frightened you know") And he then says "Well the moves that have been made are fine and i am sure we will have no depression, that is without question, and we will definitely be seeing a recovery as what has been done works into the system" Interviewr replies "O it is so good to HEAR YOU say that Mister Roubini!" See he is getting getting "whoosh, whoosy" to be a bearer of bad news.

i am not actually being sarky here, i have actually witnessed his becoming more mainstream since he got thrust under the spotlight of fame:)

It happens to the best of them.Max

"Roubini calls for a U-shaped recovery, with his talk of positive 2nd derivatives in many things worth tracking, e.g. layoffs"

Either he's on drugs, getting paid off, or watching Kudlow to much."

all of above, he is committed keynesian...

IN nominal GDP terms it may look like a U but backing out inflation its more like a L or a M followed by an L... perhaps thats what is not clearly understood.
