>>how formaldahyde forms in the atmosphere.

So how does it form in the atmosphere?

Not counting being given off when things are burned cause we know that.<<

I have no idea-lol. And it must be complicated as my son in laws paper caused quite a stir. Inviting him to Vienna to present his paper is a pretty big honor.

I think what he discovered is how different gases combine in the atmosphere under certain circumstances to form formaldahyde?

I always thought it was interesting that he was never alarmed by the ozone hole? He operates at a level so far beyond what I know, that I cannot even have a normal discussion with him about it.

His personality is sort of like Obama's i.e. laid back. The one time I did see him excited was after he got out of listening to a lecture by Roger Penrose (one of the worlds greatest mathematical physicists). He phoned me long distance on his cell phone to tell me about it-lol.

He knows I like that stuff, although I know nothing-lol.
