Well isn't that nice! My little town has had a civilian task force that has been trained to respond to a local emergency for over 5 years now so I guess we are way ahead of the curve? It is a VOLUNTEER position, not some MANDATED edict from above. I like this: Emanuel...it will be a "common experience." Me........"for the common man Mr. Emanuel?" I do not take kindly to being considered "common" and I will make sure my grandchildren are not subjected to this little mandatory service. I wonder how they will be punished when they refuse?
