He also got an invitation to interview for a research and teaching position at Columbia university in England where Stephen Hawking is. He did not go to the interview as he and my daughter did not want to be so far from family. I wonder if he'd known Columbia U is in NY would he have made the same decision? Talk about convincing. We're talking sheer genius here. I mean if this guy says we KNOW all about global warming and what causes it, who can argue with that?

His teaching alone earns him his measily professors pay." Charles - you make my case so beautifully. I love to press those of you on the looney left so that you fully expose your lunacy. BTW - I love the contradiction of your SIL being a world recognized expert - but receives meager pay. Something ain't consistent there Charles! Do I thing XOM can objectively study global warming - yup - as much as all of the scientists whose livelihood depends on funding to the great scare can objectively study GW. I have always remembered the conclusion to every research paper have heard presented - the conclusion - more research is need - as in pay me more - I depend on this gig! My ultimate point on XOM funding is the hate rhetoric leveled by the looney left against their freedom to fund what ever they want. You guys on the looney left try to enforce thought control where anyone thinking differently has to be trashed and destroyed - you know a lot like Miss California. Communist states enforce purity of thought. You guys are right there with Stalin and Castro on not tolerating alternate thought. Sad - you cannot sell you ideas - you have to terrorize to accomplish your goals. Bob
