<I don't know names of textbook writers. As to the publishers, they are in the business and respond to pressure from pressure groups.>

Well they are certainly NOT going to spend a nickle publishing fringe stuff. Are you saying there is a conspiracy to get false things published to support evolution? What for? There must be some sort of motivation?

<Why do they use "creationist" for both young earth creationists and id'ers?>

I have no idea... I"m just saying it 'looks like' they organized BECAUSE there were groups that didn't want evolution (presumably in any form) taught, but rather "creationism"... so it looks to me like they were formed specifically to counteract falsity??

<I can't tell you what the process is for writing textbooks, I just know there h/b problems with it.>

Again, I'm just trying to understand the idea that there is: "an agenda to establish it as firmly as possible and are willing engage in falsehood to do it" - and why that would be so. There must be a motivation, and also presumably, a mechanism... I don't see either yet... other than that group who, quite frankly appear to be motivated by folks who have an (false) alternative they are pushing.
