Report: IBM Probed for Russia Sales

NEW YORK (AP) - A federal grand jury is investigating the secret
sale of 16 advanced IBM computers to a Russian nuclear weapons
laboratory, The New York Times reported today. Quoting anonymous
Russian and U.S. officials, the newspaper said the laboratory used
Moscow-based middlemen to acquire the computers last year, evading
American export rules. A grand jury in Washington, D.C., is
examining IBM's role, the Times said.Report: IBM Probed for Russia Sales

I guess SGI isn't the only company selling to the wrong people.

I also notice that Sun and IBM have also reported soft server sales for the quarter. I wonder what would have happened if SGI was not the first to report such problems.
