Neighbor two doors down is doing a total gut and rebuild plus addition, like neighbor behind me last year. These houses are good for another 50 years after such major work. Folks on nice corner lot three blocks down have jacked up the old house and put it on trailer to move it off site. I expect we'll see a new $500K house going up there soon. The lot is worth about $250K.
