I think HK problem is being used as an excuse to sell the market here.
There is absolutely no need for this kind of sell off when you look at
interest rates, company profits etc. I do agree that somebody needs to
come out and say something about this market. NASDAQ drop is very
scary. Hope this bleeding stops soon and reverses its course.

Kumar, people are clamoring for Alan Greenspan to say something. That's a Good sign---we are bottoming out!...

If he remains silent, we will have bad Christmas sales, then have a slow business activity early next year that may fall us into a recession as the election nears. As a result, reelictionist congress will be after his head---a thing he does not want to happen (smart as he is)...
