Are you aware of the Stanford Prison studies. Very nice college students who were assigned to be prison guards in an experiment, started torturing other students who were assigned to be the prisoners. All were nice people. We are all capable of becoming torturers/killers if the authorities give us permission. Not a very nice part of our human nature and we need laws to protect ourselves from our darker sides.

Don't pretend you haven't read about the CIA's "black ovens," staffed in large part by Serbian war criminals and spread around the globe in secret locations?

Everyone who has ever investigated them has disappeared under mysterious circumstances ... in some nations even a reference to them is ground for immediate execution ... they say that the guards in these facilities dine on human flesh.
