Luckily, we live in better times.

On my father's side of the family, in the 1930's four of his brothers died within a few days of each other of pneumonia. We are talking about young men in their teens.

Throw in that his mother died giving him birth and his father was murdered soon after....all within about a year.

Tough times are a very relative thing....we've got it made.
