Why do you say "only the bond market will stop this idiocy"?

I would think that if the dollar gets converted to toilet paper, which we both agree is now inevitable, that bonds aren't a very good place to park your money to hedge against inflation. Rather, I'd make bets on commodities denominated in dollars (oil and gold being two great ones), companies with sales predominantly in foreign currencies, TIPS, gold, and renewable energy. Those are the good investments for the coming years.
