This phenomena is simply part of the evolution of science and knowlege... spirituality as well (religions also being forced to change by science of course). These guys have been coming out of the woodwork for decades: The Bohm/Krishnamurti alliance is quite old: pathless.com Further on Physics, I'm sure you've seen or heard of "What the bleep do we know": whatthebleep.com which featured this guy (and many other 'scientists') who's book I HIGHLY recommend: amazon.com And of course there are many others you've seen on bookshelves...
