The pieces of brick walls become projectiles in a tornado. Unlike a hurricane/cyclone, a tornado creates a vacuum inside a building which implodes it.

I don't have a link to your imaginary plan to build fragile masonry buildings in a tornado zone. You'll have to supply that.
