what is the range within which humans can survive without catastrophic financial or population loss. We are already seeing the financial loss without any causative link to GW at all and the population loss may be about to hit as well again unrelated to GW or CO2. Ultimately nature will reset a balance which matches human population to the real "carrying capacity" of the earth, but fiddling about with "cap and trade" schemes won't make a whit of difference.
