Do you like our roads you drive on? Government paid for and government maintained

Government paid? ....Do you have any clue where the money comes from?

Schools?.....How about we turn that whole system upside down....remove disruptive influences, restore order, create a climate where parents understand that discipline is reason for reflection not cause for a lawsuit, end social promotions......if little Johnny can't read & write, then make sure he knows how to swing a pick & shovel.

Government electricity? I've lived in a few places and states and never experienced that one....always a publicly owned supplier.

My mail lady will make the effort to get me my packages also, but not because she thinks I am not willing to go to the P.O. to get it.

Police & fire?......You wait that 10-15 minutes for them to get there and you don't really need them. When I get older and infirm, then maybe I'll need the police. Up until then, I will tell them how it came out(and the chief of police here knows this), if they happen to show up....On the fire side, plenty of experience there....if I ever do call them, it will because I really do need them.

Government hospitals.....you have my sympathy.

Safe food....I'm one of the folks growing and raising it.

Military....they can clearly do their job if turned loose, but sure there is plenty of waste and misuse there also.

Again, just where do you think the money for the government comes from? And sure they have some rational functions, wouldn't it be nice to expect some level of competent performance? Without forced authority, they would be out of "business".

We had a lot of bad bad BAD government the last 8 years

You can see that "bad" government but not this "go large runaway train wreck" style of government? Seems you are pretty selective in what pisses you off....You have zero credibility with me, hoss.

Incompetence is just that, no matter who is in charge.

Where is your government hospital? Why is it a government hospital?

You seem to have a lame idea that all government programs are great. They aren't. You post like a kid, but I believe you are much older. You just don't make a lot of sense.

We had a lot of bad bad BAD government the last 8 years. So I'm willing to try a new direction.

Then why do you support extending the worst part of the bad government over the past 8 years, the explosion of spending and deficits.
