JFShepard, did you know that the Bible is written in many different languages by many different authors? There are people with doctorate degrees who make a living translating it and researching the old languages used to write the various books of the Bible. It's a field of study that has literally thousands of scholars pursuing it.

For you to claim that the Bible cannot be understood because it isn't Shakespeare is ludicrous.
