We noticed that in our week in Maui, no Hawaiians were seen in our commercial transactions. All were imports. From Lake Tahoe, Pittsburgh, ... We only saw locals at the surfing beach, hanging out.

And the word is pidgin. Probably a homophone. And your Dragon Naturally Speaking is confused. 'Cos no human could type as much as you do.
